Intimacy Matters is a ministry of the Westgate Church of Christ. We offer professional counseling services to the members of the Westgate Church and the Wiregrass community as a ministry. This ministry was established to support the mission of strengthening families in our community and to decrease the high divorce rate in our area. Presently our county has one of the highest per capita divorce rates in the United States. We profoundly beleive that this ministry is stemming the tide of divorce and healing broken marriages. Our services are offered at no cost to our church members and to anyone who lacks the ability to pay. Donations to the church are accepted to offset ministry expenses. Our ministry includes the following:
Intimacy Matters will provide qualified speakers on the subjects of Sexual Addictions, Marital Intimacy, or Internet Safety to interested churches, civic groups or other interested organizations.
Intimacy Matters provides pre-martial counseling to all individuals who plan to wed in the sanctuary of the Westgate Church of Christ.
Intimacy Matters offers individual, couples', and family therapy to members of the Westgate Church of Christ at no expense.
Intimacy Matters offers individual, couples', and family therapy to Wiregrass Area Residents who are struggling with issues related to sexual addictions or intimacy disorders.
