Intimacy Matters is a ministry of the Westgate Church of Christ and we provide our services at no cost to the Wiregrass community. We do accept donations on behalf of Westgate Church of Christ in order to offset the expenses of this unique ministry. At Intimacy Matters we combine over 40 years of professional experience providing therapeutic services, teaching, and ministry.
Eric Greer, MS LMFT Eric is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience as a minister and therapist. He is a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor and an Advanced Clinical Sexual Addictions Specialist. Eric is married to Traci and they have two daughters. He has conducted seminars for churches and professional organizations, directed a wilderness treatment program for adolescent addicts, and is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Krista Smith, MS ALC Krista completed her Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology in 2009. She is an Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC) in the state of Alabama, a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Board Certified Christian Counselor. She is in the process of completing the credentials as a Clinical Sexual Addictions Specialist. Krista has been married for 22 years and has a son and daughter in college. She was a teacher for 12 years before returning to school to complete her Masters. She is a member of Chi Sigma Iota, a counseling, academic, and professional honor society.
